SAP - Warehouse Management System Interface Certification - a UK first for ATMS

ATMS Ltd, the Birmingham based warehouse management system specialist has become the first UK company, and only the fifth company globally, to gain certification to the latest SAP interfacing standard.   

The interface was thoroughly tested and evaluated by SAP themselves, running against SAP R/3 Version 4.6, at the SAP laboratories in Walldorf, Germany. All eight testing scenarios were passed with flying colours a testament to the SAP expertise that ATMS has built up in-house over the last five years.

ATMS systems have worked hand in hand with SAP systems for many years.  This latest development means that SAP users can have the additional confidence factor of knowing that the interface is fully SAP approved to the very latest standards.     

In addition the certification means that third party logistics providers can readily link their ATMS systems to the SAP systems of their clients significantly improving their competitive advantage.   

StockTrack PLUS, the ATMS warehouse management system (WMS) can be used as what SAP call a decentralized warehouse management system meaning that the WMS can operate semi-autonomously with SAP ideal for warehouses running 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for remote warehouses and for warehouse operated by third parties.  

The certification included DataHub, the ATMS supply chain communication system.  DataHub allows StockTrack PLUS to link to multiple systems including Oracle, Sage, MFG/PRO as well as EDI and XML based e-commerce engines.
